I started out with a not far away ZIFTY--I waited for the food and then it was ready. I loaded it into my cart, then into my van. Off I went.
About 25 minutes later I was delivering the food and utensils to a Doctor's Office. I parked around front and realized that deliveries were made in the back. So, I went to the back.
A gentleman in scrubs opened the door for me and told me where to set up. I did exactly what he said.
Then I took a picture with everything laid out.
Then I got outta there.........
I came home and watched my Soap Opera.
About 2 hours later I was still looking for a Roadie--and I found one!!!
Three things I delivered from Walmart.
Two were easy. No gate. The third I had to put in my driver's license. But, as far as gates go--it was pretty easy. They had someone on the other end who spoke English. Not just a punchboard with names and numbers and no human.
I gave him his package and took a picture--then got out of there.
I set my sights on going home.
I was sweaty and parched--the sweatshirt over the sleeveless shirt didn't help.
I've gotten used to opening my windows any time I'm NOT on the Highway.
I got home--drank some Arizona Kiwi Strawberry--and changed my clothes.
Hoping that tomorrow goes as well with my interview to drive NON-CDL cars at auction.
That job, if I get it will be on Thursdays.
I also have an interview at Handy #61 (down the street) at 10am on Wednesday. I would like to have a full-time job again--no doubt.
Sam's Birthday is Wednesday and would make a great topper if I got the job.
The only day I don't know what I'm doing yet is Friday (also Saturday & Sunday)
I hope I can find 1 or 2 good Roadies???
