What Promised To Be An AWESOME Day??

I had the best day that I've had in a long time. I did a ZIFTY early this morning. I was there early but didn't feel the wait. I used my cart and brought out the 4 bags they gave me.

It only took a minute to get everything in my van. All as one piece--not piecemeal.......

It took me a little time and a phone call to the place I was going--but I got there in plenty of time and laid everything out. Then I took a picture. Then I closed it out.

Except for the phone call--no muss, no fuss.

As I was getting ready to leave I checked out my Roadie app. Sometimes there's gold.

Today there was.

I found a $41 Roadie that was close to me and ended up where I wanted to be home. It had eleven boxes. Luckily, 3 were going to the same place--so I actually delivered 8.

A phone call to each place before I went meant that there were no surprises (except for the ones who didn't answer.) If I got voicemail I called a second time--and got 3 people who answered their phones.

A few were out of town and gave me directions--but, unlike most times where the items have to be signed for--this time they didn't. I was able to ask where the person wanted the package put. (There is a line where I can explain this to Roadie.)

Only one 3 set of packages gave me trouble--In order to mark the package delivered there is a scan done. The one with 3 I kept scanning the wrong of the 3--then finally got it right.

I finished at 2:47pm--I got paid at exactly 5:47pm

By then I had come home--changed clothes and watched The Hallmark Channel until 5:15pm

At that time they release The Young and the Restless from that day. I watched; and realized that for the next two days Basketball will take center stage.

Finally I relaxed and realized I was hungry--I went over to Little Caesar's to get pizza and a TWIX desert. The difference between delivery and going to get it yourself is about $10 and the price of a tip.

Once I got paid I took care of the bill for Paramount + so I could watch my soapie.

The rest of the night is all about relaxing so I can be ready to work the whole 4 hours tomorrow.

I have a bill to pay on Friday--and I'm going to be close...........

What made this day so awesome is that I never felt rushed--or like I was waiting for a while...

Those things happen A LOT in the delivery business.
